New information about the young man's body found in a Northeast Lubbock field Monday.

The young man has been identified as 27-year-old Daniel Arguijo, Jr.

The Chief Medical Examiner says he's found no indication of traumatic injury to Arguijo's body, meaning no gunshot or stab wounds.

You'll remember on Monday, a utility worker discovered Arguijo's badly decomposed body in a field southeast of the Lubbock Airport.

Wednesday, the Medical Examiner said he believes Arguijo could have been there for up to two weeks.

"We also were able to conclude that there was no significant blunt trauma received to the areas, such as the head and the extremities. The cause of death right now will be pending, but at some point, even when the autopsy is signed out, the cause of death may be undetermined," Dr. Sridhar Natarajan, Lubbock County's Chief Medical Examiner, says.

We're told Arguijo was a court ordered resident at a residential treatment facility near where his body was discovered.

Investigators tell us he was reported 'absent without authorization' from that facility on June 26th.
