More than a dozen people arrested in the Levelland drug bust were in court Monday.

They were there to find out whether or not they'd be released from jail. The man authorities call the ring leader of the meth distribution group, Bobby Froman, waived his right to a detention hearing and remains behind bars. Others though, are now out on bail. All thirteen in court Monday plead not guilty to charges ranging from distributing mixtures of meth to possessing firearms. Former Hockley County Sheriff's Deputy Jesse Quintinilla was already released on bail, but several others were released just Monday. The rest of the thirteen? Still in jail - waiting for their trial to begin September 22nd.
