Columbia, MO - Backup tailback Jimmy Jackson ran for three touchdowns, as the 15th-ranked Missouri Tigers pounded the 22nd-ranked Texas Tech Red Raiders, 41-10, in a Big 12 Conference clash.

Chase Daniel completed 14-of-19 passes for 210 yards with a score and an interception for Missouri (6-1, 2-1), which suffered its first loss of the campaign last weekend, falling to Oklahoma, 41-31. Derrick Washington rushed for 66 yards on nine carries, and Jeremy Maclin caught a pair of passes for 64 yards and a score.

Graham Harrell completed 44-of-69 passes for 397 yards and a score but got picked off four times for Texas Tech (6-2, 2-2), which had a three-game winning streak snapped. Shannon Woods rushed for 30 yards on 10 carries, and Danny Amendola caught 11 balls for 94 yards. Edward Britton caught a 68-yard touchdown pass.

Missouri's defense sparked the game's scoring when Stryker Sulak returned an interception 38 yards for a touchdown less than five minutes into play. Jeff Wolfert's 21-yard field goal with 2:13 remaining in the first put the Tigers ahead 10-0 heading into the second.

Texas Tech got on the board just past the midway point of the second quarter when Harrell found Britton for a 68-yard TD.

But, about a minute later Jackson punched it in from the one-yard line, as a 33-yard pass play to Chase Coffman down the right sideline, and a pair of rushes by Washington for 20 yards and 11 yards set up the score.

The Red Raiders stayed within reach down the stretch, as Alex Trlica converted a 45-yard field goal with 22 ticks left for a 17-10 halftime deficit.

Coming out of the locker room, though, Missouri picked up where it had left off. Jackson capped an eight-play drive with a three-yard touchdown run with 7:34 left in the third for the lone score in the stanza, and the Tigers took a 24-10 margin into the fourth.

Less than a minute into the fourth quarter, Jackson finished a 13-play drive, which chewed up nearly five minutes, with another one-yard touchdown scamper.

Daniel next went to the passing game, needing just two plays to score after Maclin took the ball 57 yards to paydirt on a post pattern with 9:36 remaining. A 39-yard Wolfert field goal accounted for the final margin.
