Vandals target car windows in one East Lubbock neighborhood over the weekend.

Police believe at least two people are responsible for shooting out nearly 70 car windows early Saturday morning.

The vandals used BB guns on cars near the 2600 block of East Cornell.

Total damage is estimated between $10,000 and $25,000 and local auto glass repair companies are now seeing a boom in business.

"That same day (Saturday), we went out there to start doing replacements, the neighbors started coming out, asking us questions about how much their vehicle would cost to get it replaced also," Alliance Auto Glass owner, Rick Zapata, says.

Police say whoever is behind these crimes could face felony criminal mischief charges.
