LUBBOCK, Texas – Texas
Tech head women’s basketball coach Kristy Curry announced today that senior
Tawanna Flowers will undergo anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) knee surgery on
Fri., Oct., 26, to repair the torn graft in her left knee. Flowers, a native of
Levelland, Texas, had the ACL in her left knee repaired this last April but tore
the graft during a practice on Sat., Oct. 20. Flowers will miss the
entire 2007-08 season.
