Political Message on Display Near Lubbock Airport

Passengers flying in and out of Lubbock may see something interesting on the ground.
A local farmer has used his farm to spell out his political beliefs for all to see.
The message says "Say No to Obama."
Sam bates owns the land a few miles northeast of the airport. He says politicians don't take what happens in what he calls "flyover territory" seriously enough.
So he says he put out a message they could read.
"I think sometimes they think we don't have a clue what's going on. But I think it's the reverse. They don't have a clue what's going on," Bates said.
