Washington politics comes to the Hub City today, with more than a thousand folks voicing their opinions during Coffee with the Congressman. Today's town hall meeting gave folks here in Lubbock the chance to ask questions directly to the Congressman who represents us.

Many concerned with the federal budget, policy, but healthcare reform took main stage with Congressman Randy Neugebauer.

Folks supporting both sides of the issue were in attedance, asking questions and not afraid to drill the Congressman. For the most part, the meeting was calm, compared to other Town Hall meetings we've seen across the nation.

Congressman Neugebauer says Wednesday's meeting is proof positive that every town Americans -- just like in Lubbock -- have a say in Washington. He says he hopes President Obama will take note before making any bill a law.

Neugebauer will be in Plainview for another town hall meeting next Tuesday.
