Lubbock, TX (Sports Network) - Jarrius Jackson tallied a game-best 28 points as the Texas Tech Red Raiders coasted to a 95-74 win over the Colorado Buffaloes in a Big 12 Conference bout from United Spirit Arena.
Martin Zeno poured in 24 points and recorded two steals for Texas Tech (17-10, 6-6 Big12), which won its second game in a row. Charlie Burgess posted 16 points and six assists, while Alan Voskuil chipped in with 10 points in the triumph.
Richard Roby led the way for Colorado (6-16, 2-10) with 17 points and five rebounds. Jermyl Jackson-Wilson turned in 15 points and seven rebounds, while Xavier Silas finished with 14 points. Dominique Coleman logged 11 points and seven boards, the Buffaloes dropped their third straight game.
In the first half, Texas Tech shot 50.0 percent from the floor and made 7- of-17 three pointers, taking a 41-30 lead at the break.
The Red Raiders shot a blistering 61.5 percent from the floor and converted 18-of-23 free-throw attempts in the second period, as they cruised to the 21- point win.
Texas Tech forced 20 turnovers in the game, while committing just nine miscues itself.
