Fire officials continue to investigate a suspicious fire at the Dollar General Friday night.

Firefighters responded to the store in Melonie Square at 80th and Indiana around 12:30 early Saturday morning and quickly had to call for backup as smoke and flames poured out of the building.  Garett Nelson with the Fire Marshal's office says they think they've determined where the fire started but have not yet ruled the fire officially an arson.

"There are several questions that we can't answer yet as to what caused this fire.  We feel pretty good about where the fire started, we feel pretty good about the first materials that caught fire.  What we haven't been able to completely rule out is all of the potential causes for the fire."

Workers with Carpet Tech have been out at the strip mall throughout the weekend to clean up smoke damage.  Several other stores along the mall were affected with smoke through the ceiling.
