UT Stadium Should be 'Blacked Out' Saturday

If you're heading to Austin this weekend, make sure you pack some 'black' for the big game.
The buildup for the Texas game last year brought with it a new tradition. Every fan in the stands, wearing black. The 'Blackout' game proved a lucky charm. Now Red Raider Outfitter is hoping to bring that same look and luck to Austin this weekend.
This year's theme -- 'Road Trip. Each shirt is $17.99. You can get yours at the store on Broadway, the store at the South Plains Mall, or you can order online.
The folks at Red Raider Outfitter say they hope the stadium usually filled with burnt orange gets some competition when Tech fans travel south.
Samantha Nicks, Red Raider Outfitter: "Everyone will have this shirt. And the Tech section of the UT stadium will be blacked out. Instead of the red and the orange, it will be the black and the orange. People are super pumped for the game this year, and excited to go, and I know so many students who are headed to Austin, I hope the support's really good, too."
