Pink was the color of the day for everyone over at Whiteside Elementary and it was all for a very important cause. From pink boots, to pink lunch boxes, pink t-shirts and more; all were in support of Isabel Garza.  She's a Special Education teacher at Whiteside and a recent breast cancer survivor.  Mrs. Garza says support like this brings her comfort.

"I still have my days of anxiety and fears and tears, but this new journey, this cancer journey has brought me a peace that I've never known," said Garza.

Each student also donated one dollar to wear pink today.  All the money raised will go to the Susan G. Komen Foundation and the United Way.
