An assistant football coach with the Texas Tech football team has died. Dave Brown had a heart attack while playing basketball at the Tech Recreation Center around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday. He was taken to University Medical Center, where he died. He was 52. Brown was a Cornerbacks` Coach for the Red Raiders. He had been at Tech since 2001. Brown had played for the Seattle Seahawks in the NFL. He holds the team record for most career interceptions with 50. Brown is survived by his wife and two children.
