Tech Players Invited To NFL Combine

The NFL Draft isn`t until April, but five Tech players found out on Monday they have a shot to play at the next level. Tech running Back Taurean Henderson, safeties Vincent Meeks and Dwayne Slay, cornerback Khalid Naziruddin and offensive lineman E.J. Whitley will be heading to the NFL Combine Workouts in Indianapolis next month. The workouts give NFL scouts a better chance to evaluate the country`s top football talent. Tech`s five players is the second most invited to this year`s workouts. Only Oklahoma is sending more players to the combine.
