UMC Makes H1N1 Vaccines Available to the Public

Severasl of UMC's Physician Network Services locations have received H1N1 flu vaccines.

Supplies of the vaccines, both by mist and injection, are limited.  There are also personal requirements that must be met in order to qualify for a vaccine, such as age and number of children living at home.  Those interested in receiving the vaccine are encouraged to call before visiting a PNS clinic.

The following clinics had vaccines available for the public as of October 29:

     - West Wind Primary Health Center

     - Living Well Express Care, inside United Supermarket
          - 50th Ave & Ave. Q (806-761-0429)
          - 82nd & Boston Ave (806-761-0428)

The following PNS physicians has vaccines available for returning patients as of October 29:

     - Pediatric Associates of Lubbock
          - 7501 Quaker Ave.
          - 806-793-7257
