From a home-made mini masked rider, to civil war soldiers and even what we were told was the heart beat of the Red Raiders, people put a lot of imagination and creativity into their costumes to cheer on Tech while celebrating Halloween. But the most popular costume at the game was Jim Davis' "The Fat Little Girlfriend", inspired by Coach Leech's controversial comments. Since it's still a sensitive subject, Davis even had to deal with some restrictions before going into the stadium.
"He'd be allowed in, but the little posters wouldn't be," said Charles Baker, Visual Security Inspector at the AT&T Jones Stadium.
Fans also were banned from bringing in plastic knives and swords, but that didn't put a damper on Halloween spirit.
