The mysterious disappearence of a Colorado man has family members searching for him here in Lubbock.  52-year-old Abade Joseph Martinez, also known as "Abe", went missing from his brother's home in Olathe, Colorado back on August 2nd.  His family said before he went missing he hit his head, but are unsure if he may have amnesia.  Relatives said he left behind items he always carries with him, including his hat and cigarettes.  Massive searches in Olathe have uncovered no new clues, but the latest tip were 2 phone calls.  One from someone saying they saw Abe here in the Hub City.

"Somebody had called from Kingman, Arizona saying they had saw him at a truck stop and my brother-in-law went online and found out that there's truckers that run from Kingman down to Lubbock, Texas.  So my brother-in-law started at Kingman, Arizona, today and is going to hit truck stops, show his picture and put flyers up and land in Lubbock, Texas," said Veronica Martinez, sister to missing man Abe Martinez.

Abe Martinez was last seen on August 2nd in Olathe, CO.  He was wearing a grey shirt and blue jeans, but was not wearing his false teeth.  If you have any information contact the Montrose County Sheriff's office at 970-252-4010.
