Texas Hand Red Raiders Second Home Loss

P.J. Tucker scored 18 points and grabbed a career-high 17 rebounds to lead Texas to a 65-44 win over Texas Tech on Monday. Tucker and LaMarcus Aldridge had 28 of the Longhorns` 50 rebounds. The Red Raiders as a team had just 22 total. Jay Jackson scored 14 points and John Plefka added 10 for the Red Raiders, who shot 32 percent (16-for-50). This was only the second home loss for Texas Tech (12-11, 4-5) this season. It lost to Louisiana Tech 68-53 in early December. The Red Raiders visit Colorado on Saturday. Tip-off is set for 3 p.m.
