The defense rests in the case against disgraced preacher James Cornell Clark.
He's accused of of forcing an African exchange student into prostitution.
In Kenya, he offered her a scholarship to attend South Plains College.
But as soon as the woman refused to have sex with Clark, she says he told her she had to pay the tuition money back or face deportation.
Today members at Mount Vernon Methodist Church testified they had no knowledge of the church's so-called scholarship program.
Also, the jury heard a tape recorded conversation of Clark and his accuser in which he said she could repay her loans by servicing him and his friends.
Now the jury will begin deliberations Wednesday morning.
