Lubbock is answering the call for help in Haiti, and many people are now working tirelessly to send food and donations to suffering Haitians.

Breedlove Food, Inc. already has 500,000 servings of dehydrated food ready to go. They're now working with humanitarian groups to get those meals on the ground in Haiti, and it should be the first of many such shipments there. Our local Red Cross chapter is collecting donations as well. They're asking for any amount of money you can possibly give.

"It's just financial donations right now, we're not asking for stuff. What we found the nice thing about money is it's every size, it's every color, it's everywhere we need it to be in the world in a few minutes," says Bill Curnow with the American Red Cross.

Click on the 'How Lubbock Can Help' link on our website to find ways to give.
