Team Leach Rally Brings Out Hundreds

Mike Leach's most dedicated fans took to Memorial Circle Thursday afternoon, sending their message loud and clear to Tech's top administrators.
About 600 people attended the rally on Tech's campus.
The event also streamed live over the internet, where organizers estimate at least 3,000 people watched.
Team Leach watch parties were even held in cities like Austin, Houston, Chicago and Dallas.
The highlight of the rally-- when the head pirate himself made a phone call to thank his supporters.
"I couldn't have done it without fans like you and I can't say enough about your support, and it means a lot to me and it will forever," Mike Leach told his supporters over the phone.
Several Tech administrators were invited to attend the rally; however, none of them attended.
