The Lynnwood Townhomes in Northwest Lubbock fell victim to a string of burglaries over the holidays and today, police believe those same burglars struck again.

"We've had quite a few break ins and we haven't caught people. We do have surveillance, and it paid off today," said Lynnwood Townhomes outside propert manager Dusty Hart.

Hart is relieved that after weeks of searching the two men responsible for multiple burglaries at Lynwood Townhomes are behind bars.

"You know it's very frustrating to come home from Christmas break and people to have all their stuff taken. It's given us a bad name. I think we've got the two people today that has did a lot of this. I had a great crew today that caught them and the cops worked with us. It took eight guys and we finally got them, ran them into a house, caught them and took them away in a police car. We caught them red-handed stealing stuff," said Hart.

The two suspects, Christopher York and and another we can not name becuase he is a minor, hit several houses in the neighborhood this morning, including Texas Tech Quarterback Taylor Potts home.

"I wasn't there. Kinda wish I would have been, but I wasn't there. They were on the verge of taking everything really. They had everything and they were getting ready to take it.

But unfortunately for the suspects, one resident was home during one of the attempted break-ins.

"
This started about 9 oclock this morning.  They were walking up and down the alleys. We got a call from the office telling us there had been a break in, so I called up all my guys and we started looking for them. It took an hour for us to chase two people on foot," Hart said.

Hart and his crew cornered the suspects in a garage and waited for police to arrive.

Hart added, "I

t's a good thing. We've got them captured and maybe this will stop."

The two suspects are in police custody.
