Baylor Beats Tech, 77-66

WACO - Baylor`s Aaron Bruce scored 25 of his 28 points in the second half, leading the Bears to a 77-66 win over Texas Tech. The Red Raiders took an eight-point lead on an Alan Voskuil three early in the second half but Bruce answered with eight straight points to tie the game at 34. The Bears took the lead for good on another of Bruce`s seven three to take a 43-41 lead with 12 minutes remaining. Jay Jackson led the Red Raiders with 25 points while Voskuil and Jon Pleka each had ten. The loss drops Tech to 2-12 away from Lubbock. Texas Tech (14-15, 6-9) closes out the regular season against Texas A&M on Saturday.
