Tech Baseball Falls To Campbell, 7-5

The Tech baseball team out-hit their opponent on Thursday. Unfortunately, they couldn`t convert them into runs. Tech lost to Campbell, 7-5, in the first of a three-game series with the Camels. Tech took an early 3-0 lead in the bottom of the second thanks to Joey Callender`s two-run RBI and Brian Capps sacrifice fly. Blair Wilkins` single scored another in the third. Campbell scored five runs in the fourth off of Dustin Richardson (2-1). Campbell would never relinquish the lead. Tech (9-5) plays game two at Dan Law Field Friday at 3 p.m.
