Authorities Arrest Idalou Man In Connection With Elderly Assault

An arrest in the assault case involving an 87-year-old Lubbock woman.
Police arrested an Idalou man for using the debit card that belonged to the woman.
22-year-old Joshua Stephenson is in the Lubbock County Jail.
He was arrested on charges of credit card abuse.
Detectives say they're working around the clock to determine if Stephenson was the man who raped that 87-year-old woman.
You'll remember, the woman was assaulted and robbed in her home.
The rapist, then, stole her purse.
Police released this image of the man they believe is Stephenson last week, while he was using the victim's card.
Again, at this time, police haven't linked Stephenson to the assault.
Detectives also have not confirmed a connection between this case and others like it across Texas.
Those cases are often referred to as the 'Twilight Rape' cases.
