Lubbock, TX (Sports Network) - Jessica Morrow scored 19 points and dished out seven assists to lead the eighth-ranked Baylor Lady Bears past the Texas Tech Lady Raiders, 72-67, at United Spirit Arena in the Big 12 opener for both schools.

Jhasmin Player also dropped 19 points and grabbed six rebounds for Baylor (13-1, 1-0 Big 12), which has now won six games in a row.

Angela Tisdale chipped in with 12 points and Melissa Jones contributed 10 points and nine boards for the Lady Bears, who will host Texas A&M on Saturday.

Dominic Seals scored 22 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for the double-double in the loss. Erin Myrick scored 11 for Texas Tech (12-3, 0-1), which dropped its second straight contest.

Maria Moore, Jordan Murphree and Ashlee Roberson each tallied 10 points for the Lady Raiders, who will play at Missouri on Saturday.
