The town of Post has come together to show their support for a friend in need. Marinette Tyler was diagnosed with breast cancer back in November and has been undergoing chemotherapy.Just a few days ago, her hair started to fall out. So she went to her co-workers at the Garza County Sheriff's department and asked them to shave her head.
To her surprise, 20 of her friends began to sit down and have their heads shaved as well .... women included. Now she says, their support and love are helping her through the toughest time of her life.
"It was a shock and I was scared to death and a peace came over me and all this support from coworkers and family, it's just wonderful."
She is expected to make a full recovery....and considers this a blessing to see how many true friends she really has.
