Tulsa University broke its 2-year home and home contract with Texas Tech this week in order to add the University of Arkansas.  Tulsa's athletic website no longer has Tech on their 2008 schedule.

Tech was originally scheduled to host the Golden Hurricane to open the 2008 on August 30 from Jones AT&T Stadium.  Tulsa paid a reported $150,000 in order to buy out their contract with Tech.

The Red Raiders' 2008 schedule is now as follows:

Aug. 30       vs. Tulsa (cancelled)

Sept. 6        at Nevada

Sept. 13      vs. SMU

Sept. 20      vs. Massachusetts

Oct. 11        vs. Nebraska

Oct. 18       at Texas A&M

Oct. 25       at Kansas
