Lubbock, TX (Sports Network) - John Roberson scored 20 points to lead the Texas Tech Red Raiders to a 67-60 win over the Oklahoma State Cowboys in Big 12 Conference play at United Spirit Arena.
The Red Raiders (12-8, 3-3 Big12) also received 16 points from Mike Singletary, while Martin Zeno chipped in with 10 points.
OSU (10-11, 1-6) was led by Ibrahima Thomas who scored 16 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. James Anderson and Terrel Harris also got involved, scoring 12 points apiece in a losing effort.
Texas Tech stormed out of the locker room in the first half, shooting 10-of-23 from the floor, to take a 34-24 lead at the break.
The Red Raiders cooled off in the second stanza, but still managed to make 14- of-19 free-throw attempts down the stretch to capture the seven-point victory.
The TTU bench was the difference in this contest, as it outscored the OSU reserves 27-12 in the win.
The Cowboys have now dropped six straight games.
