June 20, 2006 Texas Tech Senior Key Dawson was named to the Ted Hendricks Award watch-list today. Dawson is among 42 candidates up for the award, which is presented at the end of the season to the nations top defensive end. Texas Tech plans on playing Dawson at Outside Linebacker and Rush End in the 2006 season.
