Lubbock, TX (Sports Network) - Alan Voskuil scored 30 points, and Texas Tech head coach Pat Knight got his first win as head coach, as the Red Raiders toppled 18th-ranked Kansas State, 84-75, at United Spirit Arena.

Knight took over the program from his legendary father, Bob, earlier this month, but the Red Raiders lost their first two games under his guidance. Texas Tech dropped an 80-74 decision to Baylor on February 6, and lost 73-62 to Nebraska three days later.

But on Wednesday, Texas Tech (13-10, 4-5 Big 12) helped Knight to his first win in a big way, downing the conference leader. Martin Zeno scored 16, while John Roberson and Mike Singletary each provided 11 points.

Bill Walker scored 27 for Kansas State (17-6, 7-2), which had a two-game win streak snapped. Michael Beasley finished with 22 points for the Wildcats.
