College Station, TX (Sports Network) - Robert Johnson caught his third touchdown pass of the game with 26 seconds left to play to lift the Texas Tech Red Raiders to a 31-27 victory over the Texas A&M Aggies in a Big 12 thriller from Kyle Field. Graham Harrell threw four touchdowns in all for Texas Tech (4-1, 1-0 Big 12), completing 32-of-45 passes for 392 yards in the process. Joel Filani hauled in 10 passes for 156 yards and a touchdown, while Shannon Woods caught seven for 70 yards. Stephen McGee had a tougher time leading Texas A&M (4-1, 0-1), connecting on just 9-of-20 pass attempts for 103 yards with one interception. Jorvorskie Lane paced the Aggies on the ground with 12 carries for 77 yards and a touchdown. The Red Raiders opened the scoring with a 33-yard field goal from Alex Trlica, but Kerry Franks returned the ensuing kickoff 99 yards for a score and a 7-3 Texas A&M lead. Texas Tech reclaimed the upper hand at 10-7 with 10 seconds to play in the opening quarter, as Harrell hit Filani with a 54-yard scoring strike. The Aggies took a 14-10 edge midway through the second quarter after a two- yard touchdown run by Lane, but two consecutive scores from Johnson gave the Red Raiders a 24-14 advantage at the half. Johnson made his first trip to the end zone with a 21-yard reception, then added a five-yarder with just nine seconds to play in the half. The only score of the third frame was a 30-yard field goal by Layne Neumann, bringing Texas A&M closer at 24-17. The Aggies tied the contest at the 8:44 mark of the fourth quarter on a four- yard touchdown run from Chris Alexander, then took a 27-24 lead with Neumann`s 32-yard field goal with 2:12 remaining. That set the stage for an eight-play, 80-yard game-winning drive, led by Harrell and finished off with his 37-yard pass to Johnson. Texas Tech not only handed A&M its first loss of the year, but the Red Raiders beat their in-state rival for the ninth time in the last 12 meetings. 09/30 20:49:19 ET
