With the Texas primary election now over, local campaign headquarters are closing.

Officials with both the Clinton and the Obama campaigns say their headquarters are heading out.  They say they know Mississippi, Wyoming and Pennsylvania will be a battle, so they're sending their resources to those states.

However, having a presence here may have really helped.  Election records show in Lubbock, which is considered a Republican stronghold, there were 600 more votes cast for Democratic candidates during the primaries than Republican candidates.

Both the Obama and Clinton campaigns say, they will continue to have a grass-roots presence here in Texas.
