A Lubbock paramedic faces felony charges after being accused in a global child pornography ring. Authorities say 43-year-old Daniel Castleman is one of 13 Americans charged with possessing and trading child porn on the internet. Arrests were also made in England, Canada, Germany, and Australia. Some of the exploited children were as young as five. Authorites are calling this one of the most technologically sophisticated networks they've ever busted and our local FBI office was involved in the investigation. They helped arrest Castleman at his home on the 2800 Block of 60th St. They could not comment on how else they were involved. The child porn charges against Castleman are actually filed in Florida because a law enforcement agency there headed the investigation, but he is currently being held in the Dickens County Correctional Facility. Greg Bruce who is in charge of the local EMS staff tells us they suspended Castleman immediately when they found out about his arrest.
