Texas Tech’s weekend baseball schedule has been finalized as the Red Raiders will now travel to San Marcos to face Texas State and Northern Illinois after the Illinois home series was cancelled due to inclement weather that prevented the Illini from making the trip to Lubbock.

Texas Tech has had eight total home games cancelled so far this year and will now play 15 of its first 17 games of the season on the road before opening Big 12 play next weekend at Texas A&M.

Tech’s weekend schedule is as follows:

Saturday, March 8

Texas Tech vs. Northern Illinois, 2 p.m.

Texas Tech at Texas State, 6 p.m.

Sunday, March 9

Texas Tech vs. Northern Illinois, 11 a.m.

Monday, March 10

Texas Tech at Texas State, 2:30 p.m.

The Red Raiders will travel on to Albuquerque on Tuesday morning where they will face the New Mexico Lobos as originally scheduled at 4 p.m. (CT) at Isotopes Park.
