Home Improvement Scam

Officials are warning residents of a popular home improvement scam. The Better Business Bureau and law enforcement say “Gypsy Pavers" are back in town. They were reportedly seen in town this past Friday.
Gypsy Pavers are groups who travel across the country and load up on asphalt. They then drive door-to-door, pretending to be from a company that has extra material. The workers then offer to do a paving job for a low cost. The thing is, they usually ask for the money before they complete the job. And, they often leave without finishing the project, or they fail to do any work at all.
