Some Texas Tech medical students now know a little more about their future as doctors.  It was “Match Day” at Tech and at medical schools across the country.  It’s a day when fourth year med students are matched with their residency; a learning process that will take another three to five years.

Texas Tech Medical School faculty had all the students open envelopes simultaneously.  That way everyone could see where they’re headed all at once.

The med students will range in disciplines from pediatrics to dermatology.  Some students found out they'd be training as close as Texas Tech and as far as the Mayo Clinic.
