Gina Perry lost her son, 22 year old Bryan Perry and his fiancé, 21 year old Jackie Little, at the corner of 19th and Indiana.  A drunk driver crashed into the couple in August of 2006.

Recently, Gina and her family adopted part of the

Slaton Highway
in Bryan's honor.  This  coming weekend she, and hopefully a number of volunteers, will be out picking up trash along Highway 84 as part of TXDOT’s annual "Trash Off"; and, of course, in Bryan’s memory.

If you would like to volunteer with Gina, the group is meeting at on Saturday, April 5th at “Wayne’s” on the

Slaton Highway
.
