Former Tech Football Player Killed

Former Red Raider cornerback Tory Mitchell was shot and killed Thursday night in his Big Spring, Texas home.
Mitchell attended high school at Big Spring High School and transfered to Texas Tech after attending the University of Miami his freshman year of college.
Mitchell began attending Texas Tech in the summer of 2002. He sat out most of the football season in 2002 due to personal reasons and later left Texas Tech a few months later.
Tory Mitchell was 26 years-old.
