PurplePervPKG6pm.transfe2008-04-07-1207621100.jpg     A strange story out of the Lubbock County Courthouse Monday.

20-year old Vincent Casas is on trial for the burglary of a habitation with the intent to commit sexual assault.
Sheriff's officials say around 3 am November 9th, 2005, Casas broke into this house in the 7800 block of FM 1585...
He then took off his clothes and entered the back bedroom where the residents were sleeping. That's when the wife woke up and found Casas standing in next to her with nothing on but a purple condom. Her husband tackled Casas and used stereo wire to bind his wrists, but casas still managed to get away.

Authorities later found casas hiding in the bushes at another house. Casas was found competent to stand trial.
Testimony continues Tuesday.
