Chris Todd To Attend Hutchinson Community College

Updated: January 7, 2009
Former Texas Tech quarterback Chris Todd had made his decision as to where he will be playing footbal next season. The Elizabethtown, Kentucky native had decided to attend Hutchinson Community College in Hutchinson, Kansas. "It seemed like a good situation. They have a new coaching staff coming in, but thing is with junior colleges you are basically reloading every year," Todd said to KLBK-13 on Monday night. "They`ve done some good things in the past. It`s a lot closer to home. I looked at some schools out in California but its just so far away." After spending last season as Harrell`s backup, Todd thought immediate playing time was paramount in his development as a quarterback and something he may not see here at Texas Tech, thus prompting him to transfer. "It was going to be a tough situation," Todd said. "So the one in Kansas seemed like the best fit." Hutchinson College went 0-9 last season and the Blue Dragons will install a new pro-style offense. Harrell went 25-for-35 passing for 241 yards and a touchdown with no interceptions in five games in 2006 with Texas Tech.
