A routine traffic stop has netted a sexual assault indictment. Idalou police pulled over 49-year-old Isaac Jones for speeding, but what they found in his car was evidence of child pornography and one of his three alleged victims in the front seat.
Police say Jones and the 14-year-old girl in the car did know each other and jones said he was simply giving her a ride home. But when his story didn't match up with what the young girl said, the officer got suspisious. He searched Jone's car and found a video camera under the front seat and inside that camera was a tape of Jones having sex with the 14-year-old girl that was in the car.
In fact, police say there was evidence to prove that he had sexually assaulted the young girl just hours before being pulled over. Police say he's admitted to having sex with two other 14-year-olds just outside of Fort Worth.
Jones was indicted Tuesday on the state level for the sexual assault charges. He also faces federal charges for production of child pornography. That will go before the grand jury Wednesday.
