The TABC will be investigating the accident that killed two Floydada teenagers after prom this past weekend.

TABC officials say they will be focusing on finding out who served the kids alcohol Saturday night.

According to Texas law, a parent can legally serve alcohol to his or her child if the child is in their direct sight at all times.  That parent may not, however, serve alcohol to his or her child’s friends.

The TABC says they don't know whether or not a parent served these kids alcohol, but, as in many other investigations, they will look into it as a possibility.

If an adult is found guilty of serving alcohol to minors, other than their own kids, they could face up to a year in jail and up to $4,000 in fines.
