BREEDLOVEMYANMAR-VO2008-05-06-1210128656.jpgAs Myanmars survivors struggle to cope with the devastation, a South Plains food organization is stepping up to help. Breedlove is a local non-profit organization committed to feeding the hungry. They provide quality food to humanitarian relief efforts world-wide. They say it may be difficult to get food to Myanmar because of limited contact with any relief agencies in the country and reluctance from the Burmese government, but they hope to send relief as soon as possible. Says David Fish, the non-profits CEO, "From the newsreports that are starting to come in now, it looks like the need will be considerable. One million people displaced. A million people without adequate food, water, shelter, or medical supplies, and that requires alot of aid on the part of someone."
