Lubbock Man gets Life for 2007 Murder

After only a few short hours, a jury of his peers found Darold Simmons guilty of the 2007 capital murder of 72-year-old Ross Moseley.Simmons was caught shortly after the incident while sexually assaulting a Lubbock cab driver.
The vicitm's family says they are relieved by the decision.
However, Simmons fate is not sealed.
Simmons can appeal the jury's decision.
His attorney, Jeff Nicholson says that's a 100 percent guarantee.
No word on when the appeal process Will begin.
