An overnight fire destroyed one local small business.
Brenda King's Sewing Studio is covered in broken glass and charred fabrics.
The roof caved in and smoke still permeates the strip mall on the south side of 34th and Elgin.
"It's my livelihood," said Brenda King, the owner of Brenda King's Sewing Studio.
"My husband can't work cause he's disabled. So, I'm the one that's bringing in all the money. It's kind of devastating."
While they have not yet called this fire arson, fire officials say it is high suspicious, and they will continue to investigate.
The loss is estimated at hundreds of thousands of dollars.
The fire began just after 10 p.m. Sunday night.
It took nearly an hour for about forty firefighters to completely put it out.
Fortunately, there were no human injuries, and other businesses in the strip mall were spared.
