LCU Lady Chaps Clinch First Ever Conference Championship

LUBBOCK, TEXAS - The LCU Lady Chaps hosted Oklahoma Christian last night at the Rip Griffin Center. LCU defeated OCU 88-63, and with the win, the Lady Chaps have clinched at least a share of the Sooner Athletic Conference`s regular season title. It is the first championship of any kind for the LCU women`s basketball program, as well as the first time a team not from Oklahoma has risen to the top of the SAC. With the win the Lady Chaps have also broken the LCU women`s basketball record for most wins in a single season.
