In less than a decade, the Indiana Village Apartments have seen two brutal murders.

The victims were both nineteen year-old college students.

In April of this year, police arrested Brad McIver's suspected killer just a few weeks after the murder.

But eight years have passed, and still no justice for Stephanie Hill.

"One thing that the recent homicide at the apartment complex did was folks tried to correlate that see if there was a connection," said Lt. Jon Caspell of the Lubbock Police Department.

"There was not a connection, but it did get people thinking about the Stephanie Hill homicide again."

On May 29, 2000, the Texas Tech junior came home from work at the Outback Steak House.

Less than an hour later, a fire crew found her dead inside her her apartment.

Hill died of several blows to the head, and police say her killer lit a fire to destroy the evidence.

"We don't give up on these cases ever until they are solved. There's a reason why the statute of limitations never runs out," said Lt. Caspell.

Police are offering a ten thousand dollar reward for any information that leads to an arrest.
