Stewart and Leverton Sign

zachstewart2008-06-09-1213069983.jpg Zach Stewart and James Leverton both decided to go pro rather than play one more season at Texas Tech.

Stewart, who was drafted in 84th overall, received a $450,000 signing bonus with the Cincinnati Reds and reports to Sarasota, Florida on Tuesday.

Leverton signed with the Chicago Cubs on Monday.  The team selected him in the 8th round of the first-year player draft last Friday.
