With gas prices hitting $4 in some places, everybodys looking for ways to save, and the city of Lubbock is helping drivers cut back. City traffic lights are synchronized on all major streets in all four directions. Meaning at most times of the day, you wont have to spend a whole lot of time sitting at stop lights burning extra fuel. But some folks say they just try to avoid the stoplights altogether. "We just basically try to get off the loop and run through the loop all the way across, so were not having to stop and go stop and go stop and go. We try to shop all at one place that way were not doing going here, going there, we just try to stay in one area."
