Sex Offenders Fail to Register

SEXOFFENDERS-VO2008-06-16-1213669386.jpgLubbock Police need you help catching two repeat sex offenders. Police are looking for 41-year-old Erasmo Varges and 59-year-old Gerado Garza.

Both men are convicted of sexual assault, have failed to register as sex offenders, and have open warrants for sex related crimes.

Cpl. Mark Long of Lubbock PD said both of these men could be in the Lubbock area or the surrounding counties.

Varges has been convicted of sexual assault and is currently wanted on a prositution charge. He is an illegal alien, and could face 15 years in prison for federal violations.

Garza has been convicted of sexuall aussalt on a 12-year-old girl and is wanted for indecencey with a minor.
